Galatians 4:6-7 “Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” So you are no longer a slave but a son and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.”
Abba is the Aramaic word meaning Daddy, Father. This word conveys intimacy, deep affection and respect.
How awesome it is to think, that as children of the Creator of the Universe, we can call upon Him and know Him as Daddy because of His deep and intimate love for us.
1 John 3:1 “How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!”
